QleanAir develops industrial air-cleaning devices installed in factories and large facilities, often in hard-to-reach places like ceilings or technical zones.

At the start, device interaction relied on built-in hardware screens, which increased production cost and made maintenance slow and inconvenient. The business needed a more scalable and service-friendly solution.

The initial request was a cross-platform mobile app to fully replace on-device screens. After successful delivery, the scope expanded into a large-scale AI-powered industrial monitoring dashboard for enterprise clients.

My responsibility covered end-to-end UI/UX design, role-based access logic, system thinking for data-heavy interfaces in pair with BA.

I designed a clear role-based model with two profiles: Customer, focused on basic control and monitoring, and Admin, with access to advanced settings, diagnostics, and maintenance workflows. The interface prioritised clarity, predictable control patterns, and explicit system states, including connectivity, errors, and critical actions like firmware updates. This allowed users to manage devices remotely via Bluetooth or LTE without physical access, while keeping complex functionality safely contained.
